IDENTITY
You came to me from my darkest void,
And you never said a word.
You came.
You took me in as your own,
Under your wing.
You took me.
When all innocence was gone and I was left with nothing to show for myself but my pride.
Pride. It's like a bloodless stick running through my body.
Pride. It's the wall preventing me from seeing the real me.
Being unable to see the real me, I am unable to see the real you.
Can I see the real you?
Can I see the real me?
You came from my darkest void. The void I did not know even exists. It tormented me, the voice of death, like the dark lullaby composed for the darkest of the human nights.
Composed for some humans.
You watched me from afar in my sleepless dream as I was standing above the black abyss.
I was so scared, and the voice wouldn't let me go. Where is your God now? He doesn't care! Kill yourself. End it all.
Whispered the sly voicless voice from the abyss. No, from the chasm. There's no such word to describe it.
Bottomless darkest soul.
Nothing worked. You were as if deaf watching me from afar.
I felt like a machine that want start. No, worse. There's no such word to describe it.
Had I tears at that moment they would have been enough to fill the ocean.
Microcosm. It sometimes sounds so romantic, but it isn't. It's a torment. Now I know what hell there can be.
And you put me through hell.
The worst part was feeling all alone and abandoned.
Now I am no longer afraid of being alone. Because you taught me the worst of the lonelinesses.
