PREMONITION I
I think I recognize you, but not through the light.
You are surely from a distant planet, galaxy or a star,
Don't deny it, everything speaks to me in a toungless voice,
Darkness is telling me you come from afar.
Maybe I saw you in a dream,
Or you spoke to me through my fears.
Maybe you are that angel-like apparition promising the abundance of fears.
Maybe you came from the nearest cloud,
yes, you appear to be as white and as light as an iron feather.
I can't quite make out.
You appear to me in the body of a man,
But you are really an angel guarding the dungeon where
I am a prisoner.
But you seem not to mind,
You come here for me, to be my curse and source of joy,
To scorch everything in your everlasting present,
you present yourself to me, and I renounce that gift, because you imprison me while leaving the gate open.
Now I am confused and at times could not feel but a little lonely.
Sometimes the closer you are,
The emptiness feels even closer and fuller.
Sometimes I think it's not you engulfing me,
But some bottomless void in me,
You send me a message, the one that has no meaning to me.
What is this ambiguity, am I not able to see?
Or have I gone finally blind from the darkness that you bring to me?
