Of the Ocean

                                                        I want to tell you a tale of the ocean

There is a place where it begins

It’s not on the earth but behind the eyes of the stars

 that know no sleep

I want to tell you a tale of the ocean

But you have to promise not to whisper it to a soul

Keep it deep within 

Where the quiet joy dwells

From the narrow vastness within

Of everything and nothing

Don’t utter a thing

There’s those who out of envy

Wait to extinguish your light 

Do not dim it down

Put up the fight.
